Urea cream is a skin care product containing urea, a substance with the following skin care properties:
- Moisturizing: Urea attracts and retains water in the skin's layers, keeping the skin hydrated and preventing dryness and flaking.
- Increased Skin Elasticity: The increased moisture from urea helps the skin retain its elasticity, preventing dryness and tightness, resulting in a firm and healthy appearance.
- Strengthening the Skin Barrier: Urea helps regenerate skin cells, stimulates collagen production, strengthens the skin's protective barrier, and reduces irritation.
- Body care: In addition to its use on the face, urea cream is also suitable for moisturizing the body, especially areas with thicker skin that tends to be dry, such as elbows, knees, heels, and palms.
Not suitable for
- For individuals with open wounds, inflamed skin, or dermatitis: Urea may worsen irritation, so it is best to wait until the wound has healed or improved.
- Those currently using other skincare products containing fruit acids (AHA), salicylic acid (BHA), or retinol: may have an increased risk of skin irritation, so use with caution or space out usage times.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding women: Although no side effects have been reported, for safety reasons, it is advisable to consult a doctor before use.
