If you know your face is resistant to Botox, what should you do?

Don't panic yet. Sometimes the problem may not be as serious as you think. Doctors usually recommend these steps.

  1. Change the brand of Botox.
Allergan, Xeomin, and Dysport each have different levels of purity. Xeomin contains fewer protein components, reducing the likelihood of antibody formation. Based on these indications, it might be a suitable option for this type of case.
  2. Stop the injection.
Allow a longer gap (6 months to 1 year) to allow the body to reduce antibody production. But that doesn't mean you can't do anything to your skin in the meantime.
  3. Use an alternative procedure.
Examples include fillers to fill in wrinkles, Ulthera or HIFU to tighten skin, biostimulators, bio-remodeling, or mesotherapy lasers to brighten and smooth the skin.
  4. Use good quality cosmetics to take better care of the upper layer of your skin.
    This plan can help.
