My face is itchy and tingly. What could be causing that, doctor?

Facial mites (especially Demodex mites) often present with the following symptoms:

  1. Itching: Feeling itchy on the face, especially at night.
  2. Red rash: A red rash on the face, which may appear as small spots or over a larger area.
  3. Dry, flaky skin: Your facial skin may become dry, flaky, or peeling.
  4. It feels like something is crawling on my skin.
  5. Clogged pores: You may notice enlarged or clogged pores.
  6. Acne: Pimples or inflamed bumps may appear.
  7. Red, itchy eyes (if there are mites around the eyelids)
  8. Oily skin: Some people may have oilier skin than normal.
  9. Sensitive skin is prone to irritation.
  10. Symptoms may worsen when sweating or in hot weather.

If you suspect you have a facial mite infestation, you should consult a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
