What are the differences between acne and boils, besides size?

Many people might think the only difference is the size, but in reality, we differ in the cause of their occurrence.

Let me explain it in simple terms. Acne is caused by clogged pores combined with inflammation.A minor issue is often caused by bacteria normally present on the skin, but a boil is caused by...More severe bacterial infections, especially those caused by Staphylococcus aureus. That causes inflammation deep beneath the skin.

Another key difference is the severity and treatment. Acne usually doesn't cause much pain (it stings, but not severely) and can be treated with topical medications. Boils, however, are painful, swollen, red, and warm. Fever may also be present. And it requires treatment.Antibiotics Sometimes, it may be necessary to drain the pus to reduce pain and severity. If you suspect you have an abscess, I recommend seeing a doctor promptly, as leaving it untreated could spread and become dangerous.
